David Furlong
David Furlong was born in Mauritius, he trained at the Paris National Theatre of Chaillot and has been working extensively as a versatile stage, screen and street performer over a 20 years career in France and London, in plays, films, street theatre and devised pieces. He has already enjoyed performing with Theatre Lab as Sganarelle (Dom Juan, 2018) and Jaggers (Great Expectations, 2019). Recent Theatre credits The Flies (The Bunker), the Great Experiment (UK tour), Street theatre shows include Tempest (French tour), Romeo&Juliet (French tour) and he’s also played the title-roles of Misanthrope (CPT) and Macbeth (Cockpit). David is also Artistic Director of Exchange Theatre where he produces, performs, writes & directs. David was nominated for Best Director at the Offies and is Young Vic Jerwood director 2020/21. He’s delighted to be a part of Theatre Lab’s feminist return to the stage after covid.
